You can control the camera directly from the Edge cycling computer or compatible wearable and access the footage from the Varia app for smartphones. RADAR ➡ Varia RCT715 is also a rear-view radar that provides visual and audible warnings for vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters away, reporting distance and speed of approach. REAR LIGHT ➡ With up to 65 lumens of brightness, the Varia RCT715 makes you visible from 1 mile away. Steady high or low intensity (group), flashing day and night lighting options available. AUTONOMY ➡ The internal battery is rechargeable and guarantees up to 6 hours of autonomy in daytime flashing mode and recording via active camera at 1080p. COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD PARTY APPS ➡ The Varia RCT715 is at its best when paired with a Garmin Edge bike computer or a compatible Garmin wearable but, thanks to Bluetooth, it can be paired with your smartphone and thus integrate with your favorite apps, such as Ride with GPS, to overlay maps with rearview radar alerts.
